Settle into happy hour with a frozen virgin mango daiquiri! Spiked with an effervescent punch of seltzer, this fruit forward drink isn’t anything like a smoothie. Use lime seltzer for an emphasis on citrus or orange seltzer for a creamsicle twist. But perhaps our strongest recipe note is to use Grade A Golden, Delicate maple syrup in this recipe because its taste compliments this drink so well.

Grade A Golden, Delicate maple syrup has a milder maple flavor, and is often perceived as sweeter than the other classifications of Grade A maple syrup. Its light maple bouquet makes it perfect for mocktails and cocktails where you’d like sweetness but not stronger maple flavor. If your recipe calls for simple syrup, Golden, Delicate maple syrup is perfect to use in its place!

We have found that citrus and Golden, Delicate maple syrup are a refreshing combination. When mixed together and poured into a cocktail glass, each sip tastes like a sunny summer afternoon. Enjoy this frozen virgin mango daiquiri on the front porch, the back deck, or the garden whenever you please.

  • 2 cups frozen mango
  • 1/4 cup Grade A Golden, Delicate maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice, from about 4 limes
  • 1/2 cup lime seltzer, or orange seltzer
  • 1 cup ice


  1. Put all the ingredients, in the order listed, into a blender.
  2. Blend for 40-45 seconds, depending on your blender, until mixed together and totally smooth. (We set our blender on “smoothie” mode.)
  3. Pour into two glasses, add a festive umbrella and/or straw, and enjoy!
