A huge fan of Butternut Mountain Farm’s pure maple butter shared with us her recipe for this autumnal delight – maple butter with sage and rosemary toast. Thanks Olivea for sharing your maple inspiration with us!

INGREDIENTS

  • Splash of olive oil​
  • Pinch of chopped rosemary​
  • Pinch of chopped sage​
  • Spoonful of maple butter​
  • Dollop of chèvre​

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Grill bread in a pan with olive oil.
  2. Add some chopped rosemary and sage directly onto the bread when it starts to get soft in the middle and crisp around the edges.
  3. Lower the heat and slowly add maple butter to the toast – be sure to watch it carefully so the bread doesn’t burn.
  4. Smear on your absolute favorite goat cheese right before serving.
