Maple Shallot Vinaigrette Salad Dressing

Bright and spicy, this dressing stars atop any lush bowl of leafy greens. INGREDIENTS

  • 1 medium shallot, finely diced (about 1/3 cup)​
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced​
  • 2 teaspoons chives or rosemary, chopped (optional)​
  • 1 tablespoon Sweet Heat Maple Syrup​
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard​
  • Salt, to taste​
  • Red pepper flakes, to taste​
  • 3 tablespoons red wine vinegar​
  • 1/3 cup olive oil​

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. In a mason jar, combine the shallot, garlic, chives, maple syrup, Dijon mustard, salt, red pepper flakes and red wine vinegar. Whisk together with a fork. Pour in olive oil, cover the mason jar and shake to emulsify.
