INGREDIENTS

  • 4 cups full-body red wine​
  • 2 cups water​
  • 1/3 cup Grade A Dark Robust or Amber Rich maple syrup​
  • Juice of 2 clementines or 1 orange, freshly squeezed​
  • 2 tablespoons mulling spices​
  • 1 cinnamon stick​
  • Orange slices and additional cinnamon sticks for garnish (optional)​

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Combine all ingredients in a heavy bottomed, medium-sized saucepan.
  2. Bring to a simmer (avoid boiling if possible) for a minimum of 10 minutes.
  3. Serve warm and garnish with additional orange slices and cinnamon sticks if desired.
