INGREDIENTS

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Place cut up bread in a large mixing bowl and set aside.
  2. In a medium saucepan, scald the milk and immediately pour over the bread. Let it soak for 5 minutes.
  3. Add maple syrup, butter, eggs and salt. Mix well.
  4. Place mixture in a buttered baking dish.
  5. Bake in pan of hot water at 350°F for 1 hour.
  6. Serve warm with ice cream or maple whipped cream.
