INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb chicken thighs, cut into chunks​
  • 2 teaspoon Chinese five-spice​
  • 1 teaspoon fine grain sea salt​
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper​
  • 2 tablespoon Dark Robust Maple Syrup​
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil​
  • Juice of one lime​

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Toss the chicken chunks with the five-spice, cayenne pepper, salt and pepper in a large ziplock bag.
  2. Combine maple syrup, olive oil and lime juice in a small bowl and add to the ziplock bag.
  3. Allow to marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Heat a grill pan on medium-high (if cooking outdoors be sure to lightly oil the grill).
  5. Cook approximately 4 to 5 minutes per side.
  6. Serve with lime.
