INGREDIENTS

  • 1 lb wild salmon, de-boned​
  • 1/4 cup Grade A Dark Robust Maple Syrup​
  • 2 teaspoon ground cardamom​
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika​
  • Salt & pepper to taste​

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven 450°F.
  2. Combine maple syrup, cardamom, paprika, salt and pepper in a small bowl.
  3. Brush syrup mixture evenly over the salmon filets.
  4. Place a large cast iron skillet into the oven to preheat for 5 minutes.
  5. Place the salmon on the hot skillet skin side down – cook for 7 minutes.
  6. Brush more glaze on and cook to your liking.
