A healthy alternative to store bought ice cream with all the pure maple flavor and fun!

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/3 cup cornstarch​
  • 1/2 cup granulated maple sugar​
  • Pinch of salt​
  • 3 cups cold whole milk​
  • 1/2 cup Maple Caramel Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract​

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Combine cornstarch, sugar, salt and whole milk in food processor and pulse until well blended.
  2. Transfer mixture to a heat-proof bowl and place over simmering water for about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally (pudding is ready when mixture coats the back of the spoon).
  3. Remove from heat, add salted caramel and stir to combine.
  4. Add vanilla and stir to combine.
  5. Spoon mixture into popsicle molds and freeze for 4 to 6 hours before serving.
