Autumn Pizza with Maple, Squash & Sausage

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 par-baked pizza crusts​
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil​
  • Pinch of garlic salt​
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese​
  • 1/2 cup fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced thinly​
  • 1/2 cup breakfast sausage, pre-cooked​
  • 1/2 red onion, caramelized​
  • 8 fresh sage leaves, chopped finely​
  • 2 tablespoons Grade A Amber Rich Maple Syrup​

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. Spread olive oil over the par-baked crust. Sprinkle with a pinch of garlic salt.
  3. Sprinkle the pizza with shredded mozzarella. Place slices of the fresh mozzarella over the shredded mozzarella. Add the remaining toppings – sausage, squash, caramelized onions and sage. Drizzle with maple syrup.
  4. Place pizzas in oven one at a time and bake for 10 to 14 minutes until the crust is golden and the cheese bubbly. Let col slightly before slicing.
