MAPLE NUT GRANOLA

This healthy delicious granola is naturally sweetened with pure maple syrup.

INGREDIENTS

  • 3 cups old fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup coconut
  • 1/2 cup pistachios, pecans, or walnuts
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/3 cup canola oil
  • 2/3 cup Dark Robust Maple Syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Mix oats, coconut, cinnamon and nuts together with stand mixer, low speed for 2 minutes.
  2. Drizzle in canola oil and mix additional 2 minutes on low speed.
  3. Drizzle in maple syrup & vanilla and mix 4 minutes on medium speed.
  4. Spread granola on a non-stick wire rack and lace on a baking sheet. Shake salt on top.
  5. Bake at 250°F for about 1 hour.
  6. Remove baking sheet and bake another 30 minutes on rack only.
  7. Cool and store in a sealed container.
